The exhibitor Akira Otsubo shows the first display after 2 years’ study in Czech. Her works are pursuing modern themes as follows; the relationship of oneself and others, the recognition of memory and image sinking in anonymous places. On this occasion, Akira Otsubo exhibits “The Hidden Secret of Her”; lithograph print works composed with use of portrait photograph, and “The Bedroom” series; monochrome photograph works she has been continuously creating from all overseas stay to this day.
この度、KYOTOGRAPHIE 国際写真フェスティバル2014、サテライトイベン トKG+に参加します。
出展作家の大坪晶は、二年間のチェコ留学後初の展示となります。大坪の作品は、写真や版 画といった複製メディアを用いて、自己と他者の関係や場所に潜在した記憶、イメージの認識といっ た現代的なテーマを問いかけています。チェコで発見した人物写真を、リトグラフに転写した 「The Hidden Secrets of Her」そして在留時より現在にいたるまで継続的に取り組んでいるモ ノクローム写真「寝室」シリーズを発表いたします。
