The Hidden Secrets of Her
This work entitled “The Hidden Secrets of Her” is a lithograph created by duplicating the old portraits featured in magazine portrait onto the stone. Human portrait featured in magazine or advertisement is mass-produced daily. And I suppose that those vast numbers of human face images are presenting some questions about human existence. The face images that are emphasized contrast and shadow, translated on stone, leave hardly any original forms. According to the lithograph peculiarity, that is, every time the duplication proceeds, the concentration becomes higher, each print has each difference. As our memories are changing every moment, human face images will be transforming and will disappear finally, just the same way as our memories are.
